01 · Compatibility
Will it fit your loupes?
The question we get asked most, and the one that decides the purchase.
Snap It™ holds your loupes by the temples: each temple slides into a silicone end and the Snap It runs behind your head. So compatibility comes down to one thing: how thick your loupe temples are.
There are three possible outcomes, and only one of them is a dead end.
Direct fit
Compatible. Ready to go.
Your temples slide into the silicone ends and stay there. It fits straight out of the box. No adapter, nothing to add to your order. This is where most loupes land.
Needs an adapter
Thin temples. We send two silicone sleeves, free.
Orascoptic Rydon™ and Phantom™ frames need one. If your temples are on the thin side, Snap It sits loose. The fix is two small silicone sleeves that slide onto the temple to build it up — you trim them to length with scissors.
Ask for them when you order. On domestic orders we only include them if you say so. Every international order already ships with them by default, whether you asked or not.
Not compatible
Light battery built into the temples.
Loupes that carry the headlight battery inside the temple arms are too thick for Snap It™, and there is no adapter that solves it. We would rather tell you now than take your order. Write to info@snapitbella.com before buying and we will check your exact model with you.

02 · Fit & Install
How to put it on.
One setup at the start of the day. After that you stop thinking about it.

Slide the temples in
Push each loupe temple into the silicone end until it seats.

Adjust the fit once
Put the loupes on and set Snap It to your head. That is the only adjustment you make. It is not something you redo between patients.

Open the clasp to take them off
Pull the magnetic clasp apart behind your head. When you put the loupes back on, the magnets find each other again and the fit is exactly where you left it.

03 · Adapter
How to use the adapter.
Two silicone sleeves come with every order that needs them.
For loupes with thinner temples. It gives Snap It a thicker arm to grip, so the fit is secure and stable instead of loose.

Slide the adapter onto the temple
Place it directly on the loupe temple and slide it on only as far as it goes easily.

Then insert that temple into Snap It
With the adapter in place, push the temple into the silicone end the same way you would without it.

Trim to length if you need to
The sleeves come long on purpose. Cut them down with scissors once you know how much temple you want covered.
Never force it
Do not force the adapter onto the temple, and do not force the temple into Snap It. If it does not go in easily, it is the wrong fit, and forcing it tears the silicone. That damage is not covered by the warranty.
04 · Care
Cleaning and disinfection.
The short answer to the question every dental office asks first: no, it does not go in the autoclave.
Clean and disinfect Snap It with a disinfectant wipe, such as CaviWipes®. Wipe the entire surface gently and let it dry completely, following the disinfectant manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not immerse it in liquids, and do not use a sterilization machine.
Do not autoclave
Heat sterilization will deform the material, and damage caused by heat sterilization is not covered by the warranty.
What that means day to day
- Wipe it down the way you wipe down the rest of your loupe hardware.
- Keep it out of any sterilization machine: autoclave, dry-heat oven or chemiclave.

We prepare and ship your order in 1 to 3 business days. Delivery time is counted on top of that.

Worldwide orders
Yes, we ship worldwide, and you can order straight from the site. If your destination is not available at checkout, write to us and we will help you place the order.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or tariffs set by your country. Those charges are the customer’s responsibility.
Every international order ships with the silicone adapters included by default, so you do not have to ask for them.
If the carrier loses your package
We send a replacement. The reshipping and handling fee is $8.99, the same one that applies to any reshipment. Write to us with your order number and we start the claim.
Local pickup
Local pickup is available in the Orlando area, and it saves you the shipping fee. We will send you the address once your order is ready.
07 · Warranty
Limited Lifetime Warranty.
What it covers, what it does not, and what happens when the return is not a defect.
Snap It Bella™ stands behind the quality of Snap It™ The Original. It is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product.
What is covered
Defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal and intended use.
For approved claims, Snap It Bella™ may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the affected product or component, or provide another appropriate solution.
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear.
- Cosmetic changes that do not affect how the product works.
- Damage from misuse, accidents, improper handling, or improper cleaning.
- Damage from forcing Snap It onto a loupe temple that is too wide for proper installation, including tearing, excessive stretching, or breakage around the insertion area. Check your model first.
- Lost or stolen products.
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations.
- Use in a manner other than the intended purpose.
The warranty applies to Snap It™ The Original only. It does not cover loupes, lights, eyewear, or any other third-party equipment used with it.
How to file a claim
Write to info@snapitbella.com with your name and your order number, and describe the issue. Depending on the case, add:
- Warranty claim: photos or video of the product.
- Wrong address: the correct address.
Proof of purchase may be required to evaluate and process a claim.
Returns that are not a defect
For a color exchange, dissatisfaction, or unmet expectations, we refund your money minus an $8.99 reshipping and handling fee.
Ordering for a model that is not compatible works differently. You can still return it, but the original shipping and the return shipping are your cost. That is why we ask you to check your model before ordering, and why we answer if you write to us first.

Is it compatible with Orascoptic Dragonfly loupes?
No. Snap It is currently not compatible with Orascoptic Dragonfly.
Confirm your model before you order. If you order Snap It for Dragonfly loupes by mistake you can return it, but the original shipping and the return shipping are the customer’s cost. If you are unsure, write to us first and we will confirm it with you.
Is the magnet strong enough to hold my loupes securely?
Yes. The magnetic connection is designed to keep your loupes firmly in place through your whole clinical day, while still letting you take them off and put them back on with a single click.
Do I need to adjust it every time I put my loupes on?
No. That is the point. Once you find your fit, the magnetic clasp lets you take the loupes off and put them back on without touching the adjustment. Adjust once. Then just click.
On a day of back-to-back appointments, that is the difference between working and stopping to fix your loupes.
What if it feels loose on my loupes?
Fit varies slightly by loupe model. If your temples are particularly thin and Snap It feels a little loose, write to us with the brand and model of your loupes and we will work out the right solution with you.
For thin temples we offer an adapter that gives a more secure and stable fit. See how the adapter works.
If you use Orascoptic Dragonfly loupes, Snap It is currently not compatible with that model.
Will it fit my loupes?
Most loupes fit out of the box. Thin temples take two silicone sleeves, and loupes with the light battery inside the temples do not fit at all. See the three outcomes above.
Can I autoclave it?
No. Clean and disinfect it with a disinfectant wipe, such as CaviWipes®, and do not immerse it in liquids. Heat sterilization will deform the material and is not covered by the warranty.
What is it made of, and how heavy is it?
Organic silicone. Snap It weighs 1.6 oz.
What makes a Limited SE different?
The S·B monogram is raised in relief and finished in a contrasting color. Same fit, same organic silicone, same Limited Lifetime Warranty. $32 instead of $29.
How much is shipping?
